The Short Version

We care about your privacy. We collect what we need to run Knoww, we don't sell your data, and we try to keep everything secure. Here's the longer version if you want the details.

What We Collect

When you sign up, we ask for your name and email. That's pretty much it. We also store:

• Your username and any profile info you add
• The posters you create (obviously, since that's the whole point)
• Basic usage stuff like when you last logged in

We also automatically collect some technical stuff - your IP address, what browser you're using, that kind of thing. It helps us fix bugs and keep things running.

What We Do With It

We use your info to:

• Let you log in and use Knoww
• Store and display your posters
• Process payments (we use a third-party for this, so we never see your card details)
• Send you important updates about your account
• Figure out what's broken when things go wrong

We're not using it to build a profile of you or sell ads. We just need it to make Knoww work.

Who We Share With

We don't sell your data. Full stop. We only share it when:

• We need to (like with payment processors to handle subscriptions)
• The law makes us (subpoenas, court orders, etc.)
• We're getting acquired or merging (hopefully that's a good thing)

That's it. No sketchy data brokers, no "partners" who want to "enhance your experience."

Keeping It Safe

We encrypt passwords, use secure connections, and follow best practices. But let's be real - nothing on the internet is 100% secure. We do our best, but if someone really wants to hack something, they'll find a way. We'll let you know if something major happens.

Cookies

Yeah, we use cookies. They help you stay logged in and remember your preferences. You can block them in your browser, but then some stuff might not work right.

Your Rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you what data we have on you
• Fix anything that's wrong
• Delete your account and all your data
• Export your posters if you want to take them elsewhere

Just contact us and we'll handle it. Depending on where you live, you might have more rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). We'll respect those too.

Kids

Knoww isn't for kids under 13. If you're a parent and your kid signed up, let us know and we'll delete their account.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update this page. We probably won't email you about it unless it's something major, so check back every now and then if you care.
